A step by step guide on how to use Turnitin for students

Submit a Paper to Turnitin

1.Click on the Class name.

 

 

 

2.Check the name of the assignment that you will submit upon, the start and due dates then click on Open.

3.Check the assignment details by selecting the assignment title.

4.To submit, select Upload Submission.

Upload Submission

The ‘Submit File’ screen allows you to submit your paper to the assignment in three different ways.

Upload Submission (the most used method)

1.The Upload Submission method allows you to upload a file directly to Turnitin.

2.Enter the title of your submission.

3.Select the Choose File button to browse for your file.

4.Click Upload and Review.

5.In the Review and submit process, check that the file you are about to submit is correct.

6.Select Submit to Turnitin to submit your assignment.

7. You will see a submission complete notice if your submission was successful. Please don't leave the submission process until you have seen this notice.

8. After the submission has completed, a digital receipt is displayed or you can download it from the assignment's dashboard and a copy is also sent via your Turnitin email address as a proof of a completed submission.

1.The Text Input method allows you to submit just the text of your assignment directly to Turnitin if it does not have a specific format.

2.Enter the title of your submission.

3.Enter or paste your submission text into the Submission Text box.

4.Click Upload and Review.

Cloud Submission

Cloud Submission 

1.The Cloud Submission method allows you to submit from a cloud drive.

2. Select the cloud drive (Google, Dropbox or OneDrive) that contains the file you want to submit.

3.Select your file within the cloud drive.

4.Click Upload and Review.

View your Submissions

You can view your feedback studio report through your assignment's dashboard.

Note: It's recommended to download a PDF copy of your report.
