Library Etiquette

Library Etiquette ....

Is the way you should act in the library. Here are few tips for a good manner in the BUE library:

  • Respect is our code; be nice to the library staff as they are always to you.
  • Follow the posted signs (Silent area - NO food & drinks - Leave books on the table ... etc.)
  • Books are your friends; Don't humiliate them.
  • Kindly place your chair bake as you found it before leaving.
  • Make sure not to fall asleep.
  • Remember you’re in a public space; taking off your shoes probably seems a little weird and can be very distracting to others.

And don't forget ..

Treat people the way you want to be treated :)

Quote of the Week!

Hamlet, Act 3
"To be, or not to be"

The opening phrase of a soliloquy spoken by Prince Hamlet in the so-called "nunnery scene" of William Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Act III, Scene I. In the speech, Hamlet contemplates death and suicide, bemoaning the pain and unfairness of life but acknowledging that the alternative might be worse.
